DERMAL FILLER INJECTABLES

DERMAL FILLER INJECTABLES

D A I Y A H Clinic injectable doctors are equipped with the latest techniques and products which allow us to contour, enhance and lift the facial features producing an instant, subtle and natural-looking result. This simple technique counters the common signs of ageing and restores the skins natural elasticity, leaving skin feeling refreshed and firmer.

COMMON AREAS THAT ARE TREATED?

Dermal fillers are for clients who are seeking an immediate result with little downtime to smooth away facial wrinkles, hand wrinkles, fine lines around the mouth, forehead lines, cheeks and fine lines around the eye area. Common areas treated include: Eye area, cheeks, corners of the mouth, lips, décolletage, hands and forehead.

WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVED?

Taking no longer than 30 minutes, tiny quantities of HA filler are injected in the treatment areas via a series of small injections, with immediately visible results that last for up to 6-18 months. Most of the leading products contain local anaesthetic making the process relatively painless, but additional topical anaesthetic can be applied upon request.

ARE DERMAL FILLERS PERMANENT?

The most commonly used dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a natural compound that aids in the production of collagen and elastin. Dermal fillers are long-lasting, renewing the skin for up to two years. However, they do degrade over time. Treatment may be repeated every few months to years to soften the signs of ageing.

CAN DERMAL FILLERS BE DISSOLVED IF I DON’T LIKE THE RESULTS?

Hyaluronic dermal fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called Hyaluronidase. This enzyme naturally occurs in our skin but can be injected at higher concentrations rapidly removing unwanted filler. The enzyme is a powder mixed with saline and then this solution is injected into the area where the filler has been placed. The filler will be broken down and will disappear in a matter of minutes. However, the full results of the treatment are only apparent once the swelling has gone down. This usually after 24 hours to 1 week.

CAN I RECEIVE DERMAL FILLER INJECTIONS AND BOTOX INJECTIONS AT THE SAME TIME?

Dermal fillers and Botox treatment can and often are administered during the same office visit. Because each product works differently in the skin, the two can be a powerful combination to achieve beautiful, natural-looking rejuvenation.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Following the treatment, some redness, mild pain, bruising and swelling might occur at the site of injection. These are common side effects of mild severity that usually resolve in 48 hours, although not everybody gets these symptoms. Results are subtle but effective enhancements to compliment your natural beauty.
